Sclerals:

Large diameter RGP lenses, which sit
on the sclera (white of the eye), not the cornea

  • Extremely comfortable and facilitate excellent vision
  • They may be recommended for patients with extremely dry eyes, distorted corneas, or those who cannot tolerate soft or rigid lenses
  • Are also suitable for high astigmatism and keratoconus
