Hybrid Lenses are perfect for individuals with high refractive error. They are usually prescribed for persons with high hyperopia, myopia, and astigmatism. It consists of a central rigid gas permeable (GP) lens surrounded by a soft lens skirt.

GP lenses are known to provide sharper and crisper vision as compared to soft lenses. To optimize the wearing comfort of using a GP lens, the peripheral soft skirt provides comfort similar to the use of normal soft lenses.
