Ms. Leong is a board certified optometrist with Diplomate status. She received her Diploma in Optometry from Ngee Ann Polytechnic where she was awarded the Bausch and Lomb Honorary Award for ‘Paediatric Clinical Practice’. She is enthusiastic about expanding her skills as an optometrist and keeps abreast of all new developments in eye care sciences. She earned her Bachelor of Science Optometry and Clinical Practice with honours from Aston University in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
She communicates with her patients about their diagnosis and treatment options, encouraging them to play an active role in their eye care. As a passionate optometrist, she delivers care with compassion and high level of detail in caring for her patients, and especially loves interacting with children.
Throughout this time, she has also been an active volunteer in vision screenings locally and globally. She has been involved in philanthropic mission trips alongside with Sight to Sky, providing beneficiaries with eye care services.
She has been practising and caring for her patients since 2017. Although her background includes full range of optometric care, her true passion is working with paediatrics and fitting individuals with specialty contact lenses.
In her spare time, she enjoys a good workout at the gym, travelling, sipping coffee and spending her evenings with her family and fur kids.
